There is no registration fee, although participants are expected to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
The working language of the conference and documentation will be provided in English. It is foreseen that there will be around 200-250 participants.
While participation is by invitation only because of capacity limitations, it is intended that there will be much broader involvement in development of the conference and support for implementation of its recommendations.
The conference will support a strategy based on a wide range of partnerships. In addition to the conservation sector, a wide range of interests will also be invited from landholding, farming, forestry, tourism, recreation, business, ecological services, local community and urban social sectors.
Attendance from across Europe will include representation from the European Commission, Council of Europe, government departments, NGOs, as well as a range of conservation management practitioners, academics and specialists.
